Swan Hill Motorcycle Club is set to run Round 3 of their Club Championships this weekend, right after two of their members won their classes at the Victorian Senior MX Championships.
“Mackenzie O’Bree won the MXD B Grade class while Ryan Shadbolt won the MX1 A Grade class, it’ll be good to have them both going around the home track after their fantastic State level wins!” Club President Greg O’Bree said.
“We’re expecting around 50-60 riders for the day, so it should be good.”
“We love to see larger fields competing as it makes great viewing for the spectators but it’s also fantastic to see our newest Juniors battling it out as they are the future of our sport.”
The Key Officials for this weekends event will be Greg O’Bree as Steward, Rob McKay as Clerk of Course and Rebecca Purtill as Race Secretary.
Results will be available on the Swan Hill Motorcycle Club Facebook Page after the event.
The club would like to thank Swan Hill Kawasaki, Swan Hill Power Products, Swan Hill Off Road & Suzuki, Swan Hill Kubota, Viking Earthmoving, Doeys Meats and Bunnings Swan Hill.
“We’d also like to thank the Tooleybuc School for running our canteen, the local CWA for looking after our flag points and Greg Edwards for First Aid.”
“Of course, also all of our volunteers who put in endless hours to make these events happen.”
After this weekend, the next Swan Hill Motorcycle Club event will be a double header with Round 4 & 5 of their Club Championships taking place on the 2nd & 3rd September.
