Motorcycling Victoria is pleased to announce an extension to the partnership with the Parkview Hotel in St Kilda Road, Melbourne.
Parkview Hotel Business Development Manager Cheyne Bolton and MV Sport & Rider Development Manager Mark Vallance have been in discussion over the past weeks to try and provide an even better partnership for both organisations.
“We are very excited to be partnering with Motorcycling Victoria to support the growth and development of motorcycle sport and recreation in Victoria,” Cheyne said.
“The Parkview already has strong associations with Regional Victoria and this is something we hope to build on through our sponsorship of such a wide reaching not-for-profit organisation.”
MV and the Parkview Hotel have come to an agreement on three separate topics to see the partnership between the two organisations flourish into the future.
First, the Parkview Hotel has been the location of the MV Elite Rider Training Camp for the past two years and is also due to host the Training Camp in September later this year.
MV and the Parkview Hotel are pleased to announce that an agreement has been made to keep the Training Camp going through 2018.
“Locking in this commitment with the Parkview for the Training Camp for the next three years is a big coup for MV. It means that there is consistency in the locale of the Training Camp and it also means that we have locked ourselves into a commitment to run the Training Camp for at least another three years!” Mark said.
The Parkview Hotel is also extremely excited by this news.
“We are delighted to host the MV Elite Rider Training Camp each year and our staff always enjoy the interaction with the instructors and the riders,” Business Development Manager Cheyne Bolton said.
Second, the Parkview Hotel and MV have come to an agreement for discounted accommodation for MV members through corporate rates at the Parkview.
“We’ve been able to lock in corporate rates between MV and the Parkview which will provide our members with a fantastic option for accommodation whenever they are in the city,” Mark said.
These rates see MV members able to stay at the Parkview for only $169, instead of the standard corporate rate of $230 and also receive a full buffet breakfast for an additional $20 instead of $29. Rates also include complimentary WIFI, newspapers and access to the plunge pool, spa, sauna and gym.
Finally, MV and the Parkview Hotel have also come to an arrangement for sponsorship for the remainder of 2016 which will be reviewed by both parties as 2017 approaches and both organisations look to the future.
The Parkview Hotel has agreed to allow MV access to accommodation vouchers with the retail value of $261. These vouchers can be used as prizes in competitions or throughout a couple of events in the remainder of 2016.
The vouchers are for overnight accommodation and full buffet breakfast for two people (on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday night) with an upgrade to a City View Guest Room and car parking. The voucher is valid for 12 months, with bookings subject to availability.
“I really feel that we have set down the starting point for a very successful relationship between MV and the Parkview Hotel moving into the future,” Mark said.
“They have been absolutely outstanding to work with over the past two Training Camps and also throughout these discussions. I look forward to continuing to work with them for at least the next three years!”
