WITH just two months to go until the Elite Rider Training Camp, taking place at the Parkview Hotel on July 10-12, Motorcycling Victoria would like you to get to know the riders of the 2017 Camp a little better!
There are some great coaches and presenters lined-up to help these riders get as much as they can out of the Camp, including Stephen Mion (FitMoto), and Lee Hogan (BCP Coaching Systems).
All the Training Camp materials are just about to be finalised, the details are almost all confirmed, and we’re approaching the home stretch.
The riders, representing Motorcycling Victoria at the 2017 Elite Rider Training Camp, are:
LOCHIE AMOS
Club: Leongatha Motorcycle Club
Discipline: Enduro
Class/Grade: J4
2016 Results: Did not compete in 2016.
Reason for attending the Training Camp: “I’m attending the Camp to get an insight into diet and getting my body in top shape to compete at an elite level on my way to my goal to be number one.”
JAKE GOGOL
Club: Dandenong Motorcycle Club
Discipline: Enduro
Class/Grade: U19 A Grade
2016 Results:
Victorian Off Road Championships J4 – 2nd
Dandenong Off Road Club Championships – 1st
Mansfield Motorcycle Club 250cc – 4th
Reason for attending the Training Camp: “I wish to gain more knowledge on nutrition, how to get better sponsors while being able to keep them happy and being able to meet new riders.”
NICK GRAHAM
Club: Traralgon Motorcycle Club
Discipline: Off-Road
Class/Grade: J4
2016 Results: Interrupted 2016 season due to a collarbone injury.
Reason for attending the Training Camp: “I want to attend the Camp because I believe that it will teach me more about being physically and mentally fit (and prepared for racing), which will help me become a better rider.”
EMILEE LEWIS

2016 Results: Interrupted 2016 season due to a collarbone and ankle injury.
Reason for attending the Training Camp: “After attending while injured last year, I’m hoping to learn new things and be able to take part in the fitness training sessions.”
