On Sunday 5th November the Korumburra Motorcycle Club hosted their second Come & Try Day of the year and had a fantastic turnout for the day.
Club Vice President Graeme Boston was happy with the way that it all turned out,
“We had a fantastic day with 64 participants eager to try out our sport,” Graeme said.
“The feedback from everyone was fantastic and several people took up the opportunity to pursue the free three month recreational licence, also as a club we managed to pick up some new members which is always great.”
The riders were on track for just under two hours throughout the day (with track time broken down into sessions) and the club had a number of local club coaches on hand helping out those who wanted some extra tips throughout the day.
The club also put on a great BBQ lunch to break up the day for everyone in attendance and during this time also had some of the clubs top riders, from a range of competitive classes, put on a show for entertainment while they ate.
“Really a great day for everyone involved, thank you to those who gave a helping hand throughout and helped the day turn out the way it did,” Graeme added.
The Korumburra Motorcycle Club will again be running a couple of Come & Try Days during 2018, the first of which will be held during February or March (the date is yet to be confirmed).
