KORUMBURRA Motorcycle Club will host a Come & Try Day to welcome newcomers to try out motorcycle sport this Saturday, March 11.
KMCC committee member Graeme Boston says the club is a fantastic family-orientated club. “It’s all about getting out there and helping the kids. From the really little ones that have just begun on their PeeWee 50s right through to the teenagers. It’s just a good family-friendly club,” Graeme said.
Come & Try Days are an excellent opportunity for your club to attract new riders and increase the club’s membership-base. It’s a fantastic chance to attend a day at a club so as to get familiar with your bike in your chosen discipline of motorcycle sport.
Graeme says the day will consist of rides that will be split up into groups regarding the level of age and skill.
“We’ll try to give them as much introduction to the sport as we possibly can. We’ll have a lunch break. During lunch, we’ll get our more-experienced riders to put on a show to let them know what it’s all about. Then we’ll give them a few more sessions after lunch,” Graeme added.
“It’s a really good day to be a part of,” Graeme said.
Come & Try Days also provide the opportunity for newcomers, who have never had a Motorcycling Australia licence before, to receive a free $130 Annual Mini licence for junior riders or a free $130 Annual Recreational licence for senior riders.
Graeme would like to thank the club’s major sponsor Wonthaggi Motorcycles and to all the club’s members and volunteers that help make the club run. “That’s what it’s all about; a club with fantastic helpers,” Graeme added.
Korumburra Motorcycle Club is located at Outtrim-Leongatha Road in Outtrim and sign-in starts at 9am with riding to commence at 10am. To find out more visit: www.kmcc.com.au.
