Motorcycling Victoria is very happy to announce that we have locked-in the first coach for the new Australian Junior Motocross Training Camp – Jades Oates.
“I’m super excited to be involved in the upcoming MV two day Australian Junior MX Training Camp being held at the nationally-recognised Swan Hill Motorcycle Club on September 10-11,” Jades said.
“I know the club committee well at the Swan Hill facility and the riders will be in for a treat, the club have put a lot of work into the track up there and I’m sure it won’t disappoint,” he said.
MV Sport & Rider Development Manager Mark Vallance is excited to have Jades on board for the Camp: “Being able to have Jades on the coaching team for this Camp is a great get for MV,” Mark said.
“Jades is one of the top coaches in the state and instantly brings some great knowledge and skills to the Camp and the Juniors will learn a great deal off him.”
The Training Camp is open to all Victorian Junior MX riders who are planning on travelling interstate for the Championships.
It will provide all Victorian riders with the chance to get some tips and coaching before heading interstate and putting their best foot forward as they represent, not just themselves, but Victoria as well.
“I feel that this is an awesome opportunity for the Junior riders that attend the Camp to really refine their skills and get some last minute, perfect practice in before the Australian Junior MX Championships,” Jades said.
“I, myself, have just returned from a stint in the US and have brought home some fresh new ideas, techniques and skills that I look forward to sharing with you all. I’m super pumped and cannot wait to see all the rippers out there!”
The Australian Junior MX Training Camp will take place at the Swan Hill Motorcycle Club on September 10-11.
More information will be released shortly. The Australian Junior Motocross Championships takes place in Renmark, South Australia on September 24-October 1.
