After a comprehensive search and receipt of high calibre applications, Motorcycling Australia (MA) is proud to announce the appointment of Mr David Cottee to the position of CEO.
With 15 years of senior international business development experience, Cottee brings to MA extensive skills in operational leadership, strategy, marketing, branding, membership creation, financial accounting and human resource management. Most recently Cottee was employed by North Castle Partners (private equity firm) as the Managing Director of Jenny Craig/Curves Oceania.
With proven skills in change management and an excellent track record with stakeholder engagement, Cottee will lead the execution of a new national strategic direction for motorcycling in Australia.
Cottee has spent a lifetime on two wheels, competing, commuting, touring and genuinely loving the opportunities this great sport has to offer and we are excited to have this passionate “suit that rides” as the CEO of MA.
Cottee will commence in the role immediately.
The Board also thanks Mr Jeremy Kann for his support and effort to address the issues of the past and it is with great appreciation that Cottee can take the reins with the organisation now in good shape.
Motorcycling Victoria would like to also thank Mr Jeremy Kann for his support over the last three months as Interim CEO and would like to extend support good luck for Mr Cottee for the exciting times ahead in motorcycle sport in Australia.
