On September 10-11, a number of young Victorian motocross riders will descend on Swan Hill Motorcycle Club for two days of intense coaching in preparation for the Australian Junior Motocross Championships in Renmark, South Australia.
One of the riders who has already registered for the Training Camp is Cooper Krezlik.
“I’m attending the Camp to gain more experience and knowledge from a variety of coaches, including Jades Oates who I really like and use a lot. I’m also doing it to keep up bike fitness and for bike time,” Cooper said.
Cooper finished in third place overall in the 85BW B Grade class of the 2016 Victorian Junior MX Championships and is looking forward to taking it up to the best in Australia when he gets to SA.
“I’m looking forward to racing against the best in the country for the Australian Junior MX Championships and seeing where I’m at and what we need to do as a family to prepare for next year, when the event is in Horsham.
“This is our third year in the sport, so it’s about taking it all in, enjoying it and learning from the whole experience,” he added.
Cooper has already got some aims set for the Australian Junior MX Championships and is looking towards this Training Camp to help him reach those aims.
“Firstly, just to qualify and then to get inside the top 20 in a race. We think that would be more than a great result and achievable.”
There are also a few people that Cooper and his family would like to thank for their support: John Grove and his TM Junior Racing Team, Triple J from OatesMX, Ross Nimmo from Roscoe’s Suspension and Trent and Cass Johnson from Dynamite Cycles.
We’re now in the FINAL WEEK of accepting registrations for the Training Camp taking place on September 10-11.
Be sure to complete the Registration Form and return to the MV Office by Friday, September 2 to development@motorcyclingvic.com.au.
