BRADLEY Cain is coveting a top ten finish in both the 125cc A grade class and 250cc A grade class at the third round of Victoria’s top motocross competition for juniors – the M2R Helmets 2016 Victorian Junior Motocross Championships – that’ll take place at Ararat this weekend, May 7-8.
The 15-year-old from Botanic Ridge currently sits in 11th place in the 125cc A grade class, and 19th place in the 250cc A grade class, but is hoping for a higher finish in the remaining two rounds of the VJMXC.
“I’ve been struggling at the moment with arm pump, fatigue and making some small mistakes but I’m keen for Round 3 where I’d like to improve,” Brad said.
“I’m just out of the top ten in the 125cc A grade class and would really like better results at Ararat,” Brad added.
Brad is also competing in the 2016 Shell Advance Gippsland Motocross Championship where he is currently sitting second in the Junior Lites class after the first round at Maffra-Sale in March. Round 2 takes place at Traralgon on May 14-15.
“I’m going well in the Gippys at the moment and plan on competing in the Australian Junior Motocross Championships at Renmark in South Australia in September,” Brad, who’ll be competing in the 12-14-years-old Under 125cc-150cc A grade class, added.
“I’d really like to thank Bolt, Kickstart Industries, SPMX Suspension, AMX Superstore, Penrite Oils, Topline Seat Covers and Motorcycling Victoria,” Brad praised.
