Brock Healey is just one of the ten riders currently at MV’s Elite Rider Training Camp taking place at the Melbourne Parkview Hotel.
He’s a MX rider with ideas of competing in some enduro events in 2017, now that he isn’t caught between Junior and Senior competition.
“2016 was a year to just have fun and learn for next year, it was hard for me to have good results because I wasn’t old enough at the start of the year to go senior,” Brock said.
To that effect, Brock competed in the first round of the Victorian Junior Motocross Championships, and also two of the four rounds of the Victorian Senior MX Championship, once he was able to compete in them.
“I also competed in the Hattah Desert Race, a round of the South Australian MX Championships (at Renmark), the Northern Region MX Series and some of the MX Nationals as well.”
As mentioned earlier, in 2017 he wants to compete in a few enduro events but that’s not all:
“In 2017 I want to do the Finke Desert Race, as well as Hattah again, the Victorian Senior MX Championships, some MX Nationals, some SX events and some enduro events.
“I’m still going to go out there and have fun like this year but I’m also going to train a lot more and get better results,” she said.
To do that he is hoping the MV Elite Rider Training Camp can help him out.
“I’m looking forward to learning new things to better myself for the future and also to have a better understanding behind MX.”
MV’s Elite Rider Training Camp is taking place from September 19 – 21 at the Melbourne Parkview Hotel.
