The Victorian Quad Championships are taking place this weekend hosted by the Quad Riders Club of Victoria (QRCV) at the Ararat Motocross Track.
One of the riders who is looking forward to the weekends racing is Jacob Blackhurst.
Jacob is no stranger to taking part in the Victorian Quad Championships, having raced in a number of them over the years.
“I’ve been doing Quads for ten years now so I’ve definitely done my fair share of Victorian Quad Championships, this year I’ll be taking part in the Open class,” Jacob said.
Jacob has been taking part in the majority of QRCV race meetings throughout the year but says that he’s hoping for improvement this weekend.
“I’ve been going ok throughout the year so far but there’s always room for improvement and I’m definitely hoping for some of that in the upcoming Victorian Quad Championships and Australian Quad Championships.”
When asked what he enjoys about the Victorian Quad Championships (and Quads in general), Jacob said:
“The part I enjoy most about racing Quads is the adrenaline rush being out on the track and when the gate drops but also the social side of Quad events is really good.”
The 2017 Victorian Quad Championships is taking place this Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th August at the Ararat Motorcycle Club, for further information you can check out the QRCV website – www.qrcv.com.au.
