Ben Bramich has been doing unbelievably well on the Road Race scene so far in 2016 and from tomorrow he will sit and take in all he can from MV’s Elite Rider Training Camp as it begins at the Melbourne Parkview Hotel.
He has ridden in the GP Juniors and also the Victorian Road Race Championships where he is sitting on the top step in the 150cc class for both events.
“I’m sitting first in the GP Juniors and the VRRC for the 150cc Junior class, I’m also sitting fourth just three points off the podium in the 300cc Production class in the VRRC,” Ben said.
He will also be heading overseas to Malaysia later in the year on a mission.
“The Asia Talent Cup Selection Trials are coming up in October, taking place in Sepang and I want to continue to improve on my times and results and give it my all when I get over there,” Ben added.
Looking further ahead to next year, Ben is also planning on making a bigger attempt on the National racing scene.
“In 2017, I want to race in the ASBK (Australian Superbike Championships) and the VRRC on a Moto3.
He’s hoping that the Elite Rider Training Camp will help him reach that 2017 goal.
“I need to get fitter and stronger next year so that I can ride the Moto3 in the ASBK where the races are longer and the bike is much faster,” he said.
“I also can’t wait to get as much information as possible about sponsorship and presenting myself to prospective sponsors and I’m looking forward to meeting the other riders.”
MV’s Elite Rider Training Camp is taking place from tomorrow until September 21 at the Melbourne Parkview Hotel.
