The Ballarat Rovers Motorcycle Club will, this weekend, be hosting the Victorian Trial Championships at Mt Bolton.
Ballarat Rovers President Nick Rivett is looking forward to the weekend and is sure that the Rovers club and members will have a good weekend.
“Rovers members were out setting sections and organising last weekend and will be on site again today to finalise any finishing touches,” Nick said.
“Rovers members will also be out in force over the weekend to observe and run the event.”
Nick is also hoping that the weather is kind to them over the weekend so that the true spectacle that is Trial competition can shine.
“I’m looking forward to some good weather for a start (and a change). A good, strong entry field and some spectacular riding throughout all classes is also on the cards.”
“We’re all hoping for a smoothly run event with no injuries and above all, a great deal of fun to be had by all – both competitors and volunteers.”
Nick is appreciative of the opportunity the Ballarat Rovers club has when it comes to running a State level event such as this and also of the assistance that people give to ensure this type of event can take place.
“To be able to run a State Title means everything to a club like ours. It is an honour to run such a prestigious event and we look forward to making the most of it.”
“I’d like to thank Dennis, Jenny and Oliver Fitzpatrick for the awesome land for the event to be at, as well as their organisation to make any of our Trial events happen.”
“Thanks also to the Ballarat Rovers members for helping out over the weekend and finally, the Mt Bolton Lions Club for catering the both days of the event.”
