BAIRNSDALE & DISTRICT Motorcycle Club will roll out the welcome mat for the local community to the sport tomorrow, March 11.
Bairnsdale & District MC club member Adam Guillot says the day will be all about welcoming the local community and young kids together and offer them a safe place to ride. “It’ll be a great chance to promote the sport to the East Gippsland region,” Adam said.
Come & Try Days are an excellent opportunity for your club to attract new riders and increase the club’s membership-base. It’s a fantastic chance to attend a day at a club so as to get familiar with your bike in your chosen discipline of motorcycle sport.
“I got involved into the sport through my children. As a club we want to run lots of family-friendly events,” Adam said.
Come & Try Days also provide the opportunity for newcomers, who have never had a Motorcycling Australia licence before, to receive a free $130 Annual Mini licence for junior riders or a free $130 Annual Recreational licence for senior riders.
Adam would like to thank Doyle & Shields in Bairnsdale who donate equipment to the club so they can have raffles, Coates Hire who help out with track preparation, Whelans Earthmoving help donate a water truck for the club. “All the volunteers and members who help keep the club running also deserve a special thanks,” Adam added.
